Unmanaged risk proves costly: to human life and the liveability of communities, a facility’s operating time, and the business bottom line.

It is essential that information used to build a Safety Case document is up-to-date and reflects the current mode of operations. During the Safety Case development, some studies may require assumptions due to unavailable information or technical clarifications with operators, affecting findings/recommendations made in the Safety Case document. Such assumptions or technical queries will be documented, tracked systematically and shared. This sharing of critical information at early stages will avoid the need for rework, delays or inconsistencies due to incorrect assumptions or information being referenced in the Safety Case development.
