In service support

We provide engineering and programmatic services to help manage the lifecycle of marine platforms and structures. These services include cost-effective maintenance, solutions for life-extension and design support for technical, process and operational change.

From surface and subsurface vessels to shore-side facilities and training, our independence and the broad experience and skills of our specialists allow us to provide high-quality guidance across the entire field of in-service support.

Surface Vessels

For larger surface vessels, we’re experienced in the concept phase of vessel design, providing logistical support analyses and the generation of in-service support (ISS) requirements. Our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experts and Requirements Engineers also validate customer requirements and support the review of operational materials including safety-critical areas such as evacuation and fire control.

For small vessels, we provide the full range of design and support services, providing cost-effective solutions for customers on tighter budgets.

We provide full technical and programmatic support for submarine customers, including business change management where processes are reviewed for effectiveness, shortfalls are identified and solutions are provided.

Marine Structures

We provide lifecycle management services for marine structures, such as marine product designs, technical assurance and audits and port authority solutions.

Ongoing training and the update of training and skills are core elements of any ISS program. We have extensive experience in creating training that’s tailored to meet our customers’ needs and we also offer several pre-developed training programs.

Information Systems

In-service support operations are only ever as effective as the information tools they rely on. Lifecycle maintenance is particularly dependant on details such as the location of particular parts, the details of changes and the status of the as-maintained baseline. We help with the review and acquisition of information systems that are specifically designed to address this, so that our customers get the most for their budget during the in-service support phase.
