Progressive alliance demonstrates BMT’s commitment to sustainable ocean development
BMT, a leading, multidisciplinary consultancy with strong industry sector-expertise across oceanic marine and coastal environments, has become a member of the World Ocean Council (WOC). The latest partnership announcement from BMT demonstrates its commitment to sustainable ocean development by joining the WOC – an international business leadership alliance for ‘Corporate Ocean Responsibility’.
BMT brings a wealth of maritime experience and expertise to the WOC and adds significantly to the select number of important firms from around the world joining the WOC. With the growing number of challenges facing the ocean and the ocean business community, BMT looks forward to enhancing its engagement with a diverse range of leadership companies and organisations that seek to collaborate on ocean sustainable development action.

BMT has been announced as the winner of the first ADMIRALTY Marine Innovation Programme challenge by the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), for a new navigation system combining its REMBRANDT and TUFLOW simulation technologies to support autonomous operations planning and real-time navigation safety in Maritime and across Maritime sector’s diverse set of industries.
