Visualising, interacting and collaborating with data

Visualising not just a physical asset but its systems and processes, creating a ‘digital twin’, is an extremely effective way to both improve the design process for that asset an also optimise its in-service support.

Visualising data

When all involved in designing and delivering an asset share a common, up-to-date view, the process of design, delivery and support improves dramatically. We believe that to see the full value of a Digital Twin, it should start life as soon as the concept for a new platform, system or piece of equipment is born.

This allows it to grow with design iterations, informing all of those in the supply chain working on the project. Then a Digital Twin can act as a hub for the many systems and tools used to manage the design process, as well as a portal into supporting information such as training, technical documentation and real-time performance analysis.
