Supporting the Gas Field Development Project located offshore Central Java, Indonesia, BMT delivered safety and technical studies for the Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (PCIC) phase of surface facilities and the in-field flowline.
A number of facilities are supported during this phase, including the central processing platform, wellhead modules, satellite wellhead towers and in-field pipelines.
BMT has been commissioned by a shipyard owner to conduct third-party risk assessment and loss prevention studies for the conversion of a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) cinto a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) facility, as part of the Banyu Urip Field Development Project.
BMT prepared a business plan for the new offshore multi-user port development in Abu Dhabi, involving staged construction of facilities from initial operations in 2010 to full development by 2028.
Following a launch of an initiative to improve transport safety in Tonga, BMT was invited by World Bank to identify what further assistance was needed to improve the ongoing safe operations of inter island shipping in Tonga.
Works were for the Boil-Off Gas (BOG) Compressor and Blower Packages of the Project as part of the Hazard Review Process during the Project's EPC phase.
