We specify, evaluate, and improve the reliability and maintenance (R&M) performance of assets through appropriate analyses and testing, and we progressively assure the mitigation of risks and compliance with R&M requirements.

We also support design organisations and authorities, manufacturers, and operators across the whole lifecycle of an asset to develop tailored solutions and ensure reliability and maintenance are considered effectively and efficiently throughout the lifecycle.

Our services include:

  • Deriving R&M requirements
  • Programme management
  • R&M modelling and analysis
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Managing R&M Cases
  • Production of R&M Case Reports
  • Producing guidance documents
  • Training in R&M Techniques

Options studies

We help you navigate your options to make informed, supportable decisions on what will deliver the best possible value for money in use whilst providing the required performance of your resources. We help you identify design shortfalls correctly, influence design improvements, build a more effective repair process and robust support and supply chain.

Obsolescence management

We help ensure that obsolescence is managed as an integral part of design, development and production, and provide in-service support to minimise cost and impact throughout the life cycle.

We support design organisations and authorities, manufacturers and operators across the whole lifecycle of an asset, with a particular focus on the system/platform level obsolescence management.

We identify and support implementing strategic obsolescence management activities to help alleviate the increasing rate of technology change.

  • Developing and implementing obsolescence management strategies and plans following BS EN IEC 62402 to ensure they are environmentally sustainable, effective, and affordable
  • Deriving obsolescence management requirements and supporting commercial discussions to enable the requirements to be realised
  • Minimising obsolescence through life by increasing the flexibility and agility in the design and reducing the overall burden
  • Developing and managing technical refresh/costed resolution plans to resolve obsolescence with sufficient data integrity to support financial planning
  • Developing and facilitating the obsolescence resolution processes
