Are you Ready for EEXI?
Abstract: On the 1st of January 2023, new IMO Regulations designed to reduce the impact of shipping on climate change is set to come into force. These changes include introducing an Energy Efficiency Design Index for existing ships (EEXI). This is similar to the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) but applicable to is applicable for all vessels, new and old, above 400 GT. This presentation will discuss how electric and hybrid systems can be used to improve vessel efficiency as well as the other methods and equipment that can be used to ensure your vessels are compliant.
