About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy building relationships and working with a wide range of people. You’re comfortable managing client accounts and know how to spot new opportunities. Your experience in sales or business development means you understand how the UK Government approaches procurement, and you’re familiar with the way engineering consultancy projects operate.

You’re someone who adapts quickly when things change and you’re always keen to help the business grow. You have a knack for solving problems and can explain complex ideas clearly, whether you’re talking to customers or colleagues. You’re confident presenting to different audiences and know how to make your message engaging and easy to understand.

You’re skilled at creating networks, both locally and internationally, and you work well with others. People find you motivating and energising, and you know how to get the best out of those around you. You’re driven, positive, and ready to make a real impact in our team.

If you also have a degree in business or engineering, or you’re familiar with Shipley processes and BMT’s capabilities, that’s a bonus—but what matters most is your approach and your ability to build strong relationships.
