Job Title: AI Enablement Lead
Contract Type: Permanent
Flexibility: This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.
Location: In terms of location, this role can be based anywhere in the UK, we have offices in Bath, Bristol, London, Southampton, Glasgow, Leeds & Plymouth. We are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Please note that travel both in the UK and overseas will be required.

About The Role
As AI Enablement Lead, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and people. Your focus will be to help teams across BMT adopt and make the most of AI—particularly generative and agent-based tools—to improve how we work and deliver value to clients.
You’ll support the rollout of enterprise technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot, help shape internal and external AI tools, and work closely with engineering, digital, and capability teams to identify use cases and build AI literacy.
Your work will directly support BMT’s AI enablement strategy and contribute to responsible innovation across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and delivery of BMT’s AI enablement strategy
- Helping manage internal AI platforms such as BMT Copilot
- Assisting with the rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Gathering and developing AI use cases into practical tools or workflows
- Creating reusable AI workflows using low-/no-code platforms
- Supporting AI training and capability-building resources
- Engaging with stakeholders to promote adoption and share best practice
- Contributing to AI assurance and governance frameworks
You’ll report to the Digital Transformation Director and work closely with teams across digital transformation, delivery, innovation, talent development, and external partners.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical understanding and people skills. You’ll be confident working across teams and supporting others to build their AI capabilities.
You should have:
- Experience in AI development or enablement
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and platforms, with hands-on delivery experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting product development and training
- Awareness of responsible AI practices
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience working in a global or multi-site organisation
- Familiarity with low-/no-code platforms
- Experience building communities of practice or champion networks
