Nico van Duijvenbode has a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Studies. After his sea-going career as a deck officer on general cargo vessels, he collected experience as a surveyor in various companies since 1989. Nico is the expert in damage and losses of (especially refrigerated) cargoes - carried by sea as well as by air or road - and has also received training as expert witness for London arbitrations.
