We were commissioned by an LNG terminal owner to review the operability and reliability of its facility in Singapore. The role required that we consider also the compatibility to future plant expansion, to ensure that reliability is maintained in future development phases.
We conducted overseas site visits and interviews with various parties, ranging from process designers to field operators. This was an exercise in the integration of ideas with respect to levels of involvement in the LNG terminal. BMT then carried out a reliability analysis to review the operability of the plant.
We identified significant possible failures that could lead to total service interruption of the plant. Furthermore, we provided recommendations for future tie-in operations in the event of plant uprating.
Reliability of process design of water treatment works in Hong Kong was enhanced through various studies and reviews.

We were appointed by Vopak Yang Pu, Hainan Storage Terminal to provide consultancy services on all matters relating to the marine facilities for the terminal development.
