Mark Waggoner Rejoins BMT As Houston Service Manager

Mark WaggonerBMT Scientific Marine Services, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, is pleased to announce that Mark Waggoner was recently appointed as the new Service Manager. Mark rejoins BMT after a five year absence, having worked previously as a Field Instrumentation Inspector/Field Engineer. Mark has 25 years experience in electronics testing and manufacturing.

In his role as Service Manager in Houston, Mark will be supervising BMT Scientific Marine Services' group of Field Engineers and Technicians who help service and maintain the many offshore facilities BMT has installed in the Gulf of Mexico and internationally. He will also be in charge of managing proposals, contracts and maintaining high client satisfaction.

BMT's Service and Upgrades Group provides service and training for operating systems and instrumentation, including yearly diagnostic trips and maintenance and expedited trips to troubleshoot issues, in order to bring systems back to full health. Its Technicians also provide system upgrades as platforms age, as the regulatory environment changes or as technology improves. Upgrades have ranged from the addition of a few new sensors or channels of data to full replacement of old, outdated computers and software.

Tom Johnson, President of BMT Scientific Marine Services, says on this new appointment: "I am extremely pleased to have Mark back with us at BMT in a leadership role where he will be our very capable point of contact for our Service Clients, as well as managing, scheduling and mentoring our Houston Service Group personnel."
