Location: In terms of location, we have offices in Bath, Bristol , Fareham, Weymouth, Plymouth & London, and we are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Please note that travel to customer sites or to attend meetings will be required.

About The Role
We’re looking for a Project Controller to join our PMO team. This role is central to the successful delivery of customer-facing projects. You’ll work closely with Bid Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects are well-structured, compliant with internal standards, and delivered smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining oversight of allocated projects, supporting pre-contract planning, mobilisation, delivery, and close-out activities. Your work will help ensure that risks are managed, budgets are tracked, and project information is accurately recorded.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting bid teams with budgeting, scheduling, and planning
- Ensuring risk and quality activities are initiated early
- Setting up project details and tracking systems
- Monitoring delivery performance and financials
- Managing contract variations and contingency sums
- Raising and tracking invoices and payments
- Supporting project reviews and feedback processes
- Archiving and capturing lessons learned at project close
About You
You’ll bring a proactive and detail-oriented approach to your work, with confidence in handling data and using management information systems. You’ll be comfortable working with MS Excel and have a strong sense of diligence and tenacity.

- Spot issues early and support resolution
- Work collaboratively across teams
- Meet reporting deadlines and maintain high standards
Experience as a Project Controller is desirable but not essential. What matters most is your mindset—someone who’s always looking to improve and grow.
