Jetty Engineering Design and Project Management for a Petroleum Terminal

BMT was appointed to deliver the complete engineering design and project management consultancy services for four jetties of Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal in Vietnam.

The Requirement

BMT delivered the total engineering design and project management of four jetties at Van Phong Bonded Petroleum Terminal, located in Vietnam's My Giang Island, Khanh Hoa Province.

Conceptual and preliminary design:

Detailed engineering: 

Construction Supervision:
  • Preparation of technical specifications, bill of quantities and commercial contract documents based on FIDIC conditions of contract for construction of civil works;
  • Evaluation of tenders, selection of marine contractor and contract award process;
  • Site supervision and monitoring of works on site, attend to site technical problems and ensure work is executed in accordance with technical specifications, construction drawings and good engineering practice;
  • Preparation of all relevant construction documents and verifying 'as built' drawing for government submission and record purpose;
  • Processing contractor’s submissions for interim progress payments.
