Richard began his career in the Royal Navy as a Junior rate, Senior Rate and then Commissioned Officer. He progressed to the Ministry of Defence, with a focus on gaining both MOD and central government approvals to initiate the spending of hundreds of millions on essential MOD ICT. Later in his career he became acting SRO of NSoIT(B) and MODNET EVOLVE before joining BMT as a valued leader of the sales consultancy team.
