MCA Awards 2026 recognition for BMT consultant's contribution to thought leadership

14 October 2026

At a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London this week, we attended the MCA Awards 2026 to recognise and celebrate our management consultant expert, Dr Tim Curtis being shortlisted in the Thought leader consultant of the Year category, recognising consultants who have made a significant personal contribution to thought leadership in their specialist field.

Announced at the MCA Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House, London, being a finalist reflects Tim's longstanding contribution to advancing thinking around complex transformation and organisational change.

Over several years, Tim has developed a distinctive intellectual architecture for understanding, diagnosing and delivering transformation, bringing together systems thinking, organisational behaviour, stakeholder dynamics and practical consulting methods. His work includes more than fifty essays, thought pieces, long-form analyses and multimedia explainers that have helped shape consulting practice across BMT and beyond.

At the heart of this contribution is BMT's Business Strategy & Transformation Playbook, a 500-page methodology that is now used across government transformation, policing and port planning assignments, helping organisations navigate increasingly complex challenges.

Ewan Glen, Head of Management Consultancy Capability at BMT, said:

"Being shortlisted for Thought Leader Consultant of the Year is a significant achievement and a reflection of Tim's impact on both our organisation and the wider profession. His ability to translate complex ideas into practical approaches has influenced how we think about transformation, strengthened our capability as consultants and fostered valuable discussion across professional and academic communities."

The recognition highlights the growing influence of Tim's work, which continues to support practitioners across consulting, government and academia while helping shape the future of transformation practice.

Our continued recognition at the MCA Awards, reflects our commitment to delivering transformation change. Tim's work demonstrates the power of thought leadership to turn complex ideas into practical approaches that help organisations navigate change more effectively.

Well done, Tim and congratulations to all the winners!
