BMT has been awarded a significant contract via the Project Delivery Partner (PDP(S)) framework to provide management consultancy support to National Armaments Digital & Data (NA D&D) Novus programme over the next 11 months.
A specialist BMT team has mobilised to work alongside ND D&D’s Enterprise Technology Operations function, supporting delivery of a programme that underpins critical IT services used by more than 220,000 users across the Ministry of Defence.
Supporting a critical transformation programme
The Novus programme will oversee the procurement and transition to a new Service Centre capability, forming a cornerstone of NA D&D’s future operating model.
BMT’s role will draw on its independent perspective, deep Operational Service Management expertise, and strong track record in project delivery to support the successful progression of this programme.

This award reinforces BMT’s position within the National Armaments Digital & Data landscape and highlights the strength of its contribution within the PDP Equinox partnership. It reflects BMT’s continued focus on supporting complex defence programmes and delivering high-quality consultancy in support of critical national infrastructure.
Project Delivery Partner – Successor (PDP‑S): BMT’s role within the Equinox partnership
As a specialist engineering and technical consultancy, BMT supports the Equinox Joint Venture, led by Amentum and Turner & Townsend, as part of the MOD’s Project Delivery Partner – Successor (PDP‑S) framework. BMT operates as a supply chain partner, providing expert capability to support the successful delivery of complex defence programmes.
BMT contributes deep technical and programme assurance expertise across defence and national infrastructure. This includes supporting digitally enabled defence programmes and working collaboratively with partners to strengthen delivery confidence across the portfolio.
