At a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last night, we attended the MCA Awards 2025 to recognise and celebrate our management consultant expert being shortlisted in the Team Leader of the Year category.

Shortlisted as a finalist in May, Don Gaynor's leadership of our Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management (P3M) teams, particularly in support of Defence Digital’s Operational Service Management (OSM) programme, exemplifies our ‘One Team’ ethos, delivering real-world impact.
The Team Leader of the Year category looks for individual consultants who can demonstrate exceptional performance in building and leading project teams of consultants and working effectively with customers in that role.
Don’s work with Defence Digital is a prime example. Acting as the primary customer interface, he leads a team of 20 multi-disciplinary professionals, delivering technical IT and supplier onboarding projects as part of a revised cross-Defence Enterprise Service Integration and Management (E-SIAM) capability. His leadership has ensured exceptional service delivery, seamless team integration, and continuous upskilling of both colleagues and customer teams.
Jake Morgan, a BMT colleague and team member, clarifies:
“Don has a clear and concise communication style. He draws on his wealth of experience to ensure I am comfortable in my role and the decisions that I need to make; essentially, always enabling a safe space.”
Colin Sloper of Defence Digital concurs,
“Don has delivered a consistently excellent level of service, work and outputs in his role as the PMO and P3M Delivery Lead. Don is a professional, knowledgeable, and reliable consultant, who manages the BMT team extremely well.”
Our continued recognition at the MCA Awards, reflects our commitment to delivering transformational change, fostering sustainable outcomes and empowering our customers to succeed. Don’s story is one of leadership, teamwork and making a tangible difference for our customers and the communities they serve.
Congratulations Don!
