Paddy Rynders has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nautical Studies from the Maritime Institute De Ruyter, Flushing. He has more than a decade of seagoing experience up to the rank of Chief Officer on board heavy lift transport vessels, general cargo vessels, tankers, and coastal vessels. Over the years, Paddy has handled numerous high-profile cases and investigated major claims worldwide in connection with general averages, container losses, fires, oil spillages, cargo claims and collisions and groundings.

Paddy is a registered surveyor (NIVRE), a fire investigator, a trained expert witness for London arbitrations, and a former lecturer at a Dutch Nautical College
