We used dynamic marine traffic simulation to model vessel movements around the port entrance and investigate how the proposed lifting operations could affect existing marine traffic.
The simulation enabled the potential increase in navigational risk to be assessed before the operation took place, while also examining potential delays to ocean-going vessels.
