Thomas Hendrikx

Mariner and Marine Consultant

Thomas Hendrikx has a Bachelor of Science in Nautical Studies and Marine Engineering. He is a Master Mariner with engineering qualifications and experience on board dry cargo vessels, including reefer vessels and container ships.

In his surveying career at BMT, Thomas has gained significant expertise in investigating claims relating to shipments of bulk cargoes, steel products and food risk. Clients have called upon his knowledge on matters arising from cargo contamination, pollution, food safety and risk management whether carried in bulk, containers or in refrigerated/controlled atmospheres.

Thomas is also an experienced expert witness for London arbitration.
