Contract Type: Permanent

Location: In terms of location, we  are looking for this role to be based from one of our offices in Bath, Fareham, London or Teddington, we are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Please note that travel to customer sites or to attend meetings will be required.

About The Role

As Regional Internal Communications Manager, you will lead the delivery of engaging, high-quality communication that connects employees to BMT's strategy, culture and purpose. Working closely with regional leaders and the global communications team, you will develop and implement a regional communications plan that drives employee engagement, supports business priorities, and ensures consistent messaging across the organisation. You'll bring stories to life through creative, audience-focused content, using a range of digital channels and tools including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Copilot, video and podcasting platforms. You'll also measure communication effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and play a key role in supporting employees through organisational change and transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Global Internal Communications Manager, you'll be part of a global team while partnering closely with regional leadership to strengthen engagement and foster a connected One BMT culture.

About You

You are an experienced communications professional with a talent for creating engaging, impactful content that connects employees to business priorities, culture and purpose. You have a proven ability to develop and deliver communication strategies, plans and campaigns that drive engagement, support organisational change and align regional messaging with wider business objectives. A trusted adviser to leaders and stakeholders, you are confident providing communications guidance, shaping key messages, and ensuring content is clear, consistent and aligned with brand and style guidelines. You are skilled in managing multiple communication channels, organising events and town halls, developing employee-focused stories, and measuring the effectiveness of communications to drive continuous improvement. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment, you collaborate effectively across teams, embrace new technologies and are passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences that foster connection, engagement and a strong organisational culture.
