Key Responsibilities
The role of the Director of Capability is to assist the Vice President of Capability with developing and implementing strategies to enhance organizational capabilities, often focusing on areas like talent management, learning and development, and operational efficiency. Driving initiatives that improve employee performance, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across different departments.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team will:
- Play a crucial role in shaping the overall direction and performance of the organization. They contribute to strategic decision-making, drive organizational change, and ensure that the organization has the capabilities needed to achieve its goals. This involves collaborating closely with other senior leaders, communicating effectively, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve organizational capabilities aligned with overall business objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce.
- Lead the design and delivery of learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Manage organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- Execute performance management systems and processes to drive individual and team performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to the capability teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Manage Capability Managers (CMs) including performance reviews and the establishment and tracking of objectives and Personal Development Plans (PDPs).

Annual Salary: 175,000 to 185,000
