Job Title:  UK People Partner Manager
 
 Type of Contract: Permanent 

Flexibility: This role is available full time, part time (4 days a week) or compressed hours. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.
 
Location: In terms of location, we have offices in Bath, Teddington, London & Fareham. The team will be based across these offices, and the role holder will be required to travel to these offices. We are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

About The Role


We are seeking a UK People Partner Manager to lead and support our team of People Partners, ensuring they deliver the highest standard of service to the business. In this role, you will:

  • Act as the Business Partner for several client groups, while also managing and developing the People Partner team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, especially when dealing with complex issues such as mergers and acquisitions, TUPE, global mobility, grievances, complex employee relations cases, and restructuring.
  • Ensure responses to business needs are accurate and timely, maintaining a first-class service for internal clients.
  • Support the ongoing personal development of your team.
  • Work closely with the People Operations Manager to deliver excellent service to all internal clients.
  • Lead or support people-related projects in the region, as directed by the Regional People Director.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits in the region.
  • Coordinate annual people processes, including performance reviews, salary reviews, and promotions.
  • Liaise with the Head of Talent Development, Global Project Team, Global Mobility Lead, and other specialist functions to ensure alignment with global initiatives.
  • Provide direct People Partnership to a defined client group.
  • Focus on continuous improvement within the People Partner team, seeking greater efficiency and enabling more strategic work.
You will report to the People Director UK/EUR and have line management responsibility for People Partners. Building strong working relationships with internal clients and people teams both regionally and globally is essential.

About You

You will have significant experience in an HR role, ideally as a People Business Partner, with a proven record of delivering strategic people initiatives in a complex business environment. Your knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes is strong, and you have a good understanding of learning and development, diversity and inclusion, global mobility, HR systems, and reporting.

Experience in line management is desirable, as is the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of professionals. You are skilled at building networks and communicating effectively, with high emotional intelligence that enables you to adapt your approach to different situations and stakeholders.
