BMT has had a long-standing working relationship of nearly thirty years with the Royal Thai Navy during which BMT has advised on the planning and operation of our customer's naval dockyards and assisted in the operation of associated commercial dockyards. This work has included the preparation of Master Plans, provision of operating support, the provision of maintenance support and supervision of the construction of ships and barges in commercial yards.
Ship Simulation and the Safe Manoeuvring of Naval Ships, South Korea
Ocean Space Inc of Seoul, Korea appointed BMT to assess the capability of Naval Ships to enter and depart from berths in the refurbished Jinhae Naval Station, near Busan. The purpose of the study was to assess the maximum feasible speed at which, or, the minimum feasible time in which, Naval Ships could safely undertake arrival and departure manoeuvres.
