BMT has appointed Anup Vittal as Managing Director in India. An Aerospace and Defense industry veteran, Anup has over 28 years’ experience working in both the private and government sectors.
BMT’s Deryck Ethelston comments: “We’re delighted to have Anup join the BMT team. Anup’s extensive experience and leadership qualities are exactly what we’re looking for in India and we’re confident that he’ll bring the necessary engineering and business skills to help build the business and reinforce its foothold in a challenging but buoyant market.”
Anup joins BMT following his most recent role as an industry expert and external consultant with Ernst & Young and prior to this, as Managing Director and Member of the Board at Safran Engineering Services India.

From concept through to commissioning, BMT has played an integral role in delivering ‘through life’ solutions for major infrastructure projects in India including:
• Detailed engineering and design of an LNG terminal at Mundra Port
• Detailed project report for marine infrastructure for safekeeping of a fleet of vessels near Koteshwar
• Lender’s Independent Engineer Services for Vizhinjam International Multipurpose Port
• Engineering, Production & Construction design, design review as well as project management and consulting services for development works at Gopalpur Port.
