Najib Bin Abdullah joined BMT as Marine Surveyor as from October 2022. Najib is permanently stationed in the Singapore office where his presence as Marine Engineer allows us to expand our survey offering APAC region and at the same time contributes to a steady growth of our survey business in that region.

Najib received his diploma in Marine Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic in May 2000 after which he started his seagoing career as Engineer on container vessels. He subsequently climbed up into the ranks and became a 2nd Engine Officer in 2009. Continuing his career in the offshore industry, he served as Second Engineer on a variety of ships including AHTS vessels and later he became salvage engineer for a large salvage company. Najib obtained his Class 1 COC (Unlimited Foreign Going) as marine engineer in 2014.
