As a ‘people’ business we recognise that our staff are our future, and we carefully recruit the brightest and the best with the aptitude and potential to succeed.

As a graduate consultant you will play an integral role in the development and continued success of the company. Joining our delivery teams you will be absorbed in a wide variety of projects supported by our more experienced Consultants.

The Role

Investment in our people’s development is arguably one of the areas which sets us apart from our competitors. It simply makes good business sense - employees perform best when they are well motivated and their training and development needs are met.

The experience you will gain when joining project teams will be fundamental to your development. This is supported further by a development and training programme that will develop your technical, business and consulting skills.

We don’t just look at the short term; a progressive and evolving career development plan is also top of your development agenda.

To prepare you for your journey into consultancy you will be supported by a Line Manager and a Mentor. We will always ensure that you are sufficiently prepared for work placements and we will organise the requisite development and training to ensure this is the case.

Through dedication and commitment, your increase in knowledge and experience will take you from Graduate to Consultant within approximately two years.

The Individual

 What we’re looking for

• A solid academic background including a good degree.

• Work experience gained during your studies which has helped to develop your communication, problem solving and time management skills.

• A confident individual who can perform when working as part of a team or when acting independently, with support from colleagues

• The ability to operate effectively in a client’s team in order to influence decision makers

• Be articulate with good presentation and written communication skills

• A genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business

Our roles also require the holder to be able to obtain full security clearance. To gain clearance you will normally have had to have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 6 years, regardless of nationality. As our consultants are required to be flexible in terms of travel to clients sites, the successful candidate will also require a full clean UK drivers licence.

We will be recruiting Graduate Consultants to join the company in the summer of 2018. Start date to be flexible dependent on your availability.

To apply please forward a copy of your CV to Isobel Tait at applications@bmt-hqs.com together with an application form. The deadline for applying is 12th February 2018.
