What’s the role?

We are currently recruiting for a Security Assistant to work at our busy office in Bath.  Working Monday – Friday on a shift basis the Security Assistant will be responsible for the building security. You will work 32.5 hours a week working on an alternate shift pattern between 6.45am – 7.00pm.  The main responsibilities of the role will be;

  • Unlocking & securing the office, including setting the alarm systems  
  • Managing the reception area and car park for daily visitors and staff
  • The admittance of all staff and visitors in accordance with company regulations
  • Coordinating resource bookings for the company pool cars and arranging hire cars
  • Testing equipment such as emergency lighting, fire alarms and fire extinguishers

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will need to be reliable and a flexible team member with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues.  You will be computer literate with a good telephone manner. Smart presentation is important and previous experience of working within a Security assistant role would be advantageous.
