The Role

BMT Designers & Planners (BMT) is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support Solid Waste and Wastewater research and development (R&D) labs for a US Navy client located in West Bethesda, MD.  This is a full-time contract position. Expected start date is November 2, 2020

The successful applicant will have experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment and will have excellent listening and verbal communication skills. The job requires a person to work primarily indoors, in a semi-controlled environment with duties split between laboratory work and incinerator areas. Candidate must work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary project team.  Hands-on training will be provided in some aspects of the job. Primary duties include but not limited to:

Candidate must be a US citizen with a DOD security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
