The Role

Management Consultant - Project Controls (London and South East)

What is the role?

BMT are looking for Management Consultants to join our growing Consultancy & Advisory business line. We provide management consultancy services to our customers in a wide variety of projects and programmes, including business transformation and change management programmes. It’s important that our consultants are positive and pro-active people, with a desire to tackle problems on behalf of our customers so if this sounds like you, read on.

We are keen to hear from applicants who have acquired some experience within Project, Programme and Portfolio Controls and who are now looking to grow these skills further within a diverse and dynamic environment. We do not expect you to be the finished product, with extensive experience under your belt, as you will have lots of opportunity to develop your expertise with us. Your previous experience might include: development and maintenance of P3M processes including planning and scheduling, RAIDO management, analysis and reporting as well as some knowledge of recognised P3M frameworks, methodologies and tools.  You should also have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a forward-leaning approach to problem solving.

We work with clients throughout the UK: right now we are predominantly looking for applications from across the South to work at locations in the South West and London. Travel further afield may be required as part of the role.

What are we looking for?

Why work with us?

At BMT, we appreciate the importance of having a solid development structure. We ensure that our people have access to the training and mentoring that they need to be the best at what they do. We constantly strive to improve our working environment as well as providing everyone with the tools and applications they need to do their roles effectively.

The wellbeing of the team is central to our success, so workloads are managed effectively, we don’t have a work late culture and we promote agile working, so our working hours are flexible. On top of this, we have a host of benefits designed to support our people such as regular MIND seminars, private medical insurance and access to Unum Lifeworks, an Employee Assistance service. Our full range of benefits will be discussed at interview.
