What’s the role?

Our Future Business team is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to deliver on the end to end bid process, including planning and managing activities across a range of disciplines, identifying and delivering bid plans and strategies. You will also undertake a broader range of coordination and administration duties to support the bidding and work winning activities across the wider organisation.

This is a 12 month fixed term and full time role, to be based out of our central Bath office. We offer flexible and remote working to give our staff choice and adaptability; so once COVID-19 guidelines allow you will have the opportunity to combine office and homeworking.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager with a strong and proven track record of bid management and/or major tender preparation. You will have demonstrable understanding of bidding practice, procurement processes and quality systems. To thrive in this role you will be comfortable taking a flexible approach in responding to issues presented and you will show creativity and flexibility in your attitude to each activity, with the ability to engage with colleagues from across the business to jointly deliver bids.

We are excited to work with you because you are a natural communicator with excellent written and oral presentation skills. Your excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload and schedule, alongside your capacity to take immediate ownership of the tender process, will enable you to work successfully as an integral member of our team. 

If you have knowledge and understanding of the defence, engineering or consultancy industry then we would love to hear more about this experience, but it is not essential.
