What is the role?

Exciting new opportunity for a Naval Architect with 2 to 12 years’ experience to play an integral role in the continued success of BMT. Reporting to the Naval Architecture Submarines Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional engineering input to submarine related projects by undertaking calculations, carrying out investigations and developing and preparing design solutions individually or as a member of a team. To be successful in the role you will have:

Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a recognised professional body would be beneficial, however if you are yet to achieve this BMT offers good prospects for developing and gaining the necessary experience.

This role is a permanent and can be full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part time (minimum 22.5 hours per week).

Applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
