About the role

As GMIS Business Support Partner, you will provide support within the BMT Global Management Information System (GMIS) Business as Usual (BAU) team.

Responsibilities include resolving non-technical service desk tickets, providing GMIS (IFS) support to users, and liaising with IT specialists and third-party support.

You will support the planning and management of the GMIS helpdesk, deliver timely support to the user community, and assist in the design, development, and maintenance of G-MIS functionality.

Other tasks include creating and updating training materials, collaborating with colleagues for system improvements, maintaining documentation, and supporting senior team members as required.

You will ensure compliance with operating standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of the GMIS system.

Most of the support team work remotely but are based at either Bath, Fareham, or Teddington. There will be occasional requirement.

Hours: Part-Time three days per week. The role is shared with one other and five days per week support cover must be provided between the two positions.

About you

You possess digital literacy and proficiency with IT tools.

Knowledge of IFS is essential, along with problem-solving skills.

Desirable qualities include attention to detail, previous experience in project controls and technology implementation, and an interest in ERP best practices.

Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, and a drive for continuous improvement are valued.

You should demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
