International Women in Engineering

International Women in Engineering

The International Women in Engineering Day is an awareness campaign to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus on the numerous career opportunities available to females in this exciting industry

BMT are delighted to be supporting the International Women in Engineering Day. We are doing this alongside many other global organisations. The increased representation of women in our workforce is a key tenant of our global, Diversity Strategy. Fair representation of all minority groups ensures we have a workforce that is fit for purpose and that embraces the promotion of innovation, diverse thinking and creativity; the drivers of future business success.

To publicise this event, every day this week we will be releasing a video of BMT women, who share their experience of working within the engineering sector. The video clips give an insight into their motivation, their role models, their career history and above all words of encouragement for those women, who are thinking of embarking on a career in engineering or who are pursuing career development.
