Benefits and Rewards

In addition to a competitive salary, BMT also provides an attractive benefits package. This varies by location but can include pension scheme, 401K plan, income protection insurance and a profitsharing scheme within each individual operating company. From 1998 - 2009 BMT distributed a total of £39.40m / £67.75m to it's members of staff.

Employee Benefit Trust

To ensure BMT retains its independence and to remain totally un-biased an Employee Benefit Trust was set up as a vehicle to reward continuing individual commitment and dedication. All employees with three years' BMT service not only qualify for their company's individual profit-share, but also for the overall BMT profit-share, arising from the profits of BMT as a whole.

Due to the continuing importance of staff loyalty the rules of the EBT scheme were recently altered to increase the sense of belonging within BMT. Whereas previously EBT points only started to be accrued after three years of employment, now members of BMT staff will accrue points from the day they commence their employment and will as normal start to receive their payments after their third year of employment.

From 1998 - 2009 BMT distributed a total of £16.78m / $28.76m in EBT payments to it's staff.

Profit-Related Pay

Each BMT subsidiary company offers a profit-related pay scheme to all employees, which relates to the individual company's profit. This is in addition to any profit-share paid by the EBT scheme.

From 1998 - 2009 BMT distributed a total of £22.44m / $38.99m in Profit-Related payments to it's staff.

International Movement

As an international company working in a diverse range of markets, BMT offers the opportunity for international movement. With 60 offices worldwide, employees are able to transfer to new locations, divisions or BMT companies within the group.
